About Coffuffle
Coffuffle is a small independent coffee and chocolate truffle shop on Middle Street. Chocolatier Philip Weddle opened it in May 2021, after six years of making chocolates as a hobby.
The shop sells handmade Belgian chocolate truffles from a changing menu, including a vegan option, alongside a house coffee blend of Kenyan and Brazilian Arabica beans roasted to order in Castleford. It holds a food hygiene rating of 5 from Northumberland County Council, most recently inspected in March 2026.
