About The Golden Lion

The Golden Lion is a large stone corner pub in the middle of the village, opposite the Town Hall. The pub says it was built in the mid 18th century using stone from nearby Dilston Hall, and the building is Grade II listed. Today it describes itself as a family-run country pub in the heart of Corbridge.

As well as the bar and food, the Golden Lion has en-suite letting rooms that can be booked through its website. CAMRA lists the pub as a Star Pubs house, with a beer garden to the side.
