About 1st Tynedale (Corbridge) Scout Group
1st Tynedale (Corbridge) Scout Group is the village's Scout group and part of Hadrian Scouts, the district that covers Allendale, Haydon Bridge, Hexham, Corbridge and Prudhoe. It is a registered charity (number 1027034) run by volunteers, and it meets at Corbridge Scout HQ on St Helen's Street, close to the parish hall.
The group runs three sections: Beavers for ages 6 to 8 on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm, Cubs for ages 8 to 10 and a half on Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm, and Scouts for ages 10 and a half to 14 on Fridays from 7pm to 9pm. Places in the younger sections are popular, so it is worth registering interest early through the Hadrian Scouts website, and the group always welcomes adults willing to help.
