About This Event

Textile artist Jacqui Parkinson's Threads through Revelation is a set of 14 monumental embroidered panels, each nearly three metres tall, that reimagine the visions recorded in the Book of Revelation. Worked in vibrant silks, paint, metallic leathers and gold leaf on repurposed bed sheets, they explore hope and judgement, good and evil, and a new creation. The panels form one part of Parkinson's larger Threads through the Bible project and have toured cathedrals including St Albans and St Giles' in Edinburgh. Entry to see them at the Abbey is free.
