About Tynedale Hospice at Home

Tynedale Hospice at Home is a registered charity (number 1034170) based at Beaufront Park on Anick Road, Hexham. It supports families in West Northumberland affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement, providing free nursing care at home, bereavement support for all ages, complementary therapies and patient transport.

Its bereavement service is free and open to people in Tynedale, Ponteland and West Northumberland whatever the cause of death. One-to-one sessions with a counsellor or family support practitioner are available to adults and children registered with a GP in the catchment, starting with an introductory session, and the charity also runs drop-in bereavement cafes.
