Corbridge Medical Group is the GP practice for Corbridge and the surrounding area, based at Corbridge Health Centre on Newcastle Road. It looks after about 7,200 patients, with a team of GP partners, salaried GPs, practice nurses and healthcare assistants. It is part of the West Northumberland Primary Care Network and was rated Good by the Care Quality Commission in 2022.
As well as routine appointments, the practice offers repeat prescriptions, dispensing for patients in rural areas, travel vaccinations and seasonal vaccinations. Evening and Saturday appointments are available through the Hadrian Extra Care Hub, the nearest being at Hexham Primary Care Centre. It is also a teaching practice for GP trainees and medical students.
