About North Acomb Farm Shop
North Acomb Farm Shop is on a working farm near Stocksfield, a short drive east of Corbridge. Robin and Caroline Baty started the shop in 1978, and it remains a family business selling meat raised on the farm, including its own Aberdeen Angus beef, mostly home-bred lamb and its own pork.
The butchery counter makes its own sausages, dry-cured bacon and gammon, and the shop also sells home-made pies. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It holds a food hygiene rating of 5 and was included in the Hexham Courant's round-up of the best butchers in the Tyne Valley.
