About Corbridge United Junior Football Club
Corbridge United Junior Football Club is the village's junior football club, fielding teams from Under 7s to Under 18s for children and young people aged 6 to 17. It holds FA Charter Standard status and is run by volunteers, with FA-qualified coaches taking each age group. The club gives 1879 as its founding date, the year the village's first football club was formed.
Home matches are played at Tynedale Park on Station Road, the ground shared with Tynedale Rugby Club. The youngest teams play small-sided games in the Tynedale Mini-Soccer League before moving up to larger formats as they get older. Training days and times vary by age group and season, so contact the club through its website or by email at corbridgefootballclub@gmail.com for current details.
