Corbridge's independent shops, cafes and galleries open into the evening for the village's annual Christmas late-night shopping, timed to coincide with the St Andrew's Church Christmas Tree Festival, which stays open until 8 PM that night. It closes the traders' Christmas in Corbridge programme, which also includes a Corbridge Passport to Christmas and a children's Christmas bear hunt over the preceding weekend.
