Botanical Bas-Reliefs: Plaster-Casting Workshop with Juno Quaintrell
A seasonal day workshop at Dilston Physic Garden making three botanical plaster relief plaques or Christmas decorations.
About This Event
Participants forage the garden for evergreens and seed heads, press them into clay and cast them in plaster, capturing the veins and textures of the plants. Each of the three pieces is inscribed with an intention, looking back on 2026 and ahead to 2027, and can be finished as a plaque or a Christmas tree decoration. Suitable for all skill levels with no experience needed; places are limited to 12, and the price includes garden entry, all materials and refreshments. Bring lunch, warm layers and old clothes, as around an hour is spent outdoors.
