About Tyne Green parkrun

Tyne Green parkrun is a weekly timed 5km run in Tyne Green Country Park, on the riverside at Hexham about four miles west of Corbridge. It starts every Saturday at 9am and follows a flat out-and-back route along the River Tyne, on a mix of path and trail. Like all parkruns it is run by volunteers, and you register once with parkrun and bring your barcode.

On Sundays a junior parkrun for children aged 4 to 14 is held on Tyne Green at 9am over 2km, meeting by the children's adventure playground. Check the event's parkrun page before travelling, as events are occasionally cancelled and any changes are posted there.
