J B Colman is a family-run, traditional monumental mason based on Wentworth Place in Hexham, the nearest memorial mason to Corbridge. The business dates back to 1984 and now trades as JB Colman (Hexham) Limited, a company registered at the same address.

The masons design, supply and fit headstones and memorials for cemeteries, churchyards and crematoria, as well as bespoke pieces, garden and pet memorials and war memorials. They also add inscriptions to existing family memorials and repair and refurbish older headstones. Home visits and quotes are available by appointment, and there is no need to rush, as many families wait several months before commissioning a memorial.
